The structure of the desiccant rotor

1.The principle of dehumidification:

The desiccant rotor is a device that uses a rotating wheel made of solid hygroscopic agent for rotating dehumidification. There are honeycomb rotors on the rotor. As the rotor rotates, the moisture absorption of part of the rotors is gradually saturated. When the moisture absorbed part rotates to the regeneration zone, hot air flows through these honeycomb rotors. When the wall is heated, the corresponding partial pressure of water vapor is higher than the partial pressure of water vapor in the regeneration air to drive the moisture out of the hygroscopic agent. At the same time, as the rotor rotates and desorbs, the rotor restores its moisture absorption capacity.


2.Type of desiccant rotor :


At present, the rotors commonly used in the market can be divided into: lithium chloride rotors, silica gel rotors and molecular sieve rotors according to hygroscopic materials.
